The artist
Feyza creates from her home in Adana. Her love of the sea and the natural world found a new form while making art with her daughter, Aden.
She gathers small shoreline finds herself, then turns them into shelves, pots, creatures and quiet details inside her drawings. Because the material leads the composition, no two works can ever be the same.
From shore to frame
Shells, sea glass, stones and driftwood are gathered along the shore.
Every shoreline element is carefully cleaned, inspected and thoroughly dried before use.
Each composition begins with an original drawing made by Feyza.
Natural pieces become dimensional details, placed one by one.
The finished original is prepared as a ready-to-display artwork.
